Loretta Marcoccia was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO), Global Banking and Markets in November 2018. In this role, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Global Banking and Markets and for developing and implementing strategy and priority initiatives.

Loretta joined Scotiabank in 2015 as Managing Director and COO for Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) before taking on the expanded role of Managing Director and COO of Global Capital Markets. In her most recent role, Loretta led global wholesale operations, regulatory initiatives, global analytics and financial engineering.
