Jayshree joined HWP as a risk and governance consultant in September 2020 to assist with the delivery and go live of the custody business and was appointed to the role of Chief Risk Officer in April 2021. Jayshree has over 25 years experience in financial services, previously Head of Strategy, Risk and Transformation at one of New Zealand’s largest Advisory firms and prior to this, a Director and COO/CFO at UBS New Zealand Limited. A member of its ANZ Executive Team, this involved chairing regional and ANZ Committees, and engagement with working groups through to regional business heads throughout Asia Pacific. With expertise in highly regulated environments, Jayshree has held a number of governance positions including as Independent Chair of the NZX Board Conflicts Committee and Chair of the Securities Industry Association.
